This is one of the most important records to me. This was the record that got me into music. The song Baba O’Riley is responsible. I remember being about thirteen or fourteen and hearing this song come from the living room. I was completely blown away and quickly became obsessed with The Who. I eventually got my own copy of the album along with several others from the band and would listen on repeat.
For my birthday one year my Dad got me tickets to see The Who for their 50th anniversary in Kansas City. That was such an important show and experience for me not only because of the band and me going with my dad but also because that was my first ever live concert. I will forever cherish those memories and this album.
