The Lord of The Rings is a movie series that defined my childhood. My childhood friends and I would probably watch one of the movies every month for 5+ years growing up. We would play lord of the rings on the playground, at home, in our heads all day long.
It is not just a franchise stuck in my youth, I still enjoy the movies and think they are a truly timeless work. Everytime I watch them though, there is no escaping my childhood. These films just feel so connected to that time of my life. It always brings me a great deal of comfort to watch them.
